I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
